The ADE RD3-006 has been meticulously upgraded to enhance both functionality and user experience. The rear locking screws have been replaced with a self-locking mechanism, making assembly and disassembly a breeze while offering greater reliability. Additionally, the new motion-activated technology automatically places the green dot into sleep mode after five minutes of inactivity, instantly restoring it to its previous brightness setting upon motion or vibration detection. This ensures seamless operation and ensures you can always rely on precise aiming.

Versatile Mounting and Compatibility

The ADE RD3-006 is equipped with a Picatinny mounting base and is compatible with various handgun mounting plates that replace the rear sight dovetail. It is specifically designed to fit the Doctor Footprint Plate/Slide seamlessly, ensuring a perfect fit and alignment.

Ease of Operation and Customization

The on/off switch is conveniently located at the front, making it easier to press compared to other red dots with side-mounted switches. The sight features a 3 MOA dot size and offers 5 different illumination settings to suit various conditions. Fully adjustable for both windage and elevation, the sight can be locked into position for consistent performance. With unlimited eye relief and versatility in illumination settings, it is powered by an included lithium CR2032 battery.

Astigmatism Detection

If you’re experiencing a splashed dot, half-moon shape, multi-dot, or starburst instead of a perfect round dot, there’s a high probability you might have astigmatism. What you perceive is likely a small reflection of the LED light on the lens. A quick and simple way to confirm this is by taking a photo with your cellphone. If the photo shows a circular dot, you have diagnosed yourself with astigmatism.
